Thanks for the comments Yvonne and Andrew.

The quarry is closed on a Sunday so its pretty safe to venture in. Here in Palmy we are introducing a new recycling scheme so I envisage the glass mountain will keep growing a while yet.

I am interested in what the plans are so will try to find out.

Ellie loves it down there - had a nice stroll in the vicinity today as I finished early.

Hi Tom,
Good to see you don't take those signs too seriously!

Interesting to see the glass mountain... glass is one of the easier products to recycle as the high temperatures burn off all the contaminants. It looks like there would be a good few truck loads there, but maybe they are just waiting until glass prices pick up again?? At any rate, at least the glass can be easily accessed for recycling at some point in the future, rather than just beeing buried in a landfill.

Cheers

Hi Tom,
Dogs are great, puppies even better! Just wondering if you're doing Dunedin marathon again in September? Look forward to catching up with you there if you are.
Hope you are well anyway J.

Hi Tom
I checked into your blog the other day and saw the awesome picture of the two Minies!!!! What a coincidence!!!!

I am soo pleased that Ellie is proving such a delight in your life. the new Puppy will too I am sure but your life will not be the same for a while. Picture a 14month old baby that is toddling but as yet has no common sense and is into everything!!! There you have it.

I love seeing all your photos of Ellie :-)

I am getting used to using the dlsr for photos now. Not so scared of the apparatus. Starting to feel like I am in charge more often! And am beginning to be impressed with the photos that can be taken with it.

Thanks Tom. The gym was just a vent for a knee injury which sidelined me for a while. I no doubt have a few marathons in me later this year as well as a couple fo ultra's I have already entered. Slowly picking up the running again and I have around another month in the gym before hitting the trails full-time again. Can't wait!
Reads like you are well, how's things? All good with you? Take care J.
