We took Ellie out for a stroll tonight. Venturing down the end of Maxwell’s line to Panieri Park and some wasteland there are plenty of trails and exploring places that a dog likes.

Obviously we were walking a bit too slowly for her! After a brief look at the fast flowing rain fed river we turned back into the grass and bush areas. Ellie then found a hole – she thinks it is very interesting and spends several minutes just peering, smelling and quivering at the hole.

And yet everyday she is only metres away from a rabbit on the back lawn and she ignores it!

Later we met another golden out with its owner. She has a different haircut from Ellie and is a lighter shade. (no pic though)

A beautiful sunset and warm evening air. The close to a beautiful day.
